July 26, 2002, Newsletter Issue #43: Baking soda

Tip of the Week

Another product you´re likely to already have in the cupboard when it comes to treating sunburn is baking soda.

Fill a bath with lukewarm water, add around one cup of baking soda and soak for as long as you desire. Try to make sure all affected areas are submerged for this treatment to work best. Pour the bath water over your body using your hands or a soft wash cloth. Dab onto burned facial areas gently or splash the water directly onto your face.
