September 13, 2002, Newsletter Issue #46: Applying Sunscreen

Tip of the Week

Most sunscreens will only last about four hours. Sunscreens will not prevent you from burning, they simply slow the process. You should reapply sunscreen often, usually after a swim or work-out is a good time. Even water resistant types are less effective once wet. Reapply every couple of hours if you´re only sitting in the sun.
